I wouldn't it was because of him alone but a whole general youthful mood.  Take a look at the nominees.  Bradley Cooper?  Jennifer Lawrence?  I didn't see their movie but it seemed the Academy has finally figured out that if they stop nominating the usual geriatric suspects and start recognizing young actors that it will translate into viewership.

And now for something different... All sarcasm aside, it would appear I contracted Hand Foot Mouth Disease (HFMD) from my 3 year old son who picked it up from preschool. You can Google for HFMD for the particulars about it. All the info out there is geared for kids with absolutely no info on how it affects adults.
