US Fed hints at further measures
It occurred to me what in reality these Fed measures really are. They buy up the long term bonds and change them out to short term ones. If that's the case, then there's nothing to act to keep future rates from shooting up. Additionally in a sense by bonds maturing quicker, everybody's basically "cashing out" now. It's like the Fed is expecting a future collapse and is fostering a whole system to provide a quick easy escape. At least by my limited economics understanding.
