PG&E utility found violating safety standards

The really backwards thing about this that isn't in the article is that PG&E acknowledged that they have old equipment/lines that need to be updated/modernized but wants to add a new fee to the customers to pay for these upgrades.  Ummm.....that's why we pay our bills, for you to do that already.

PG&E utility found violating safety standards: (Reuters) - Pacific Gas and Electric Co, a PG&E Corp unit, may have to pay significant penalties for violating standards related to running high-pressure natural gas pipelines at or near densely populated areas.

And now for something different... All sarcasm aside, it would appear I contracted Hand Foot Mouth Disease (HFMD) from my 3 year old son who picked it up from preschool.
